Quark are pleased to announce that James Newton has been commissioned in this year’s Scottish Documentary Institute’s Bridging the Gap scheme, this year on the theme of future. James will be making a film about the lives of families whose loved ones have gone missing and how they deal with their past, present and future.
In the second piece of good news Quark’s previous SDI short, Eva Weber’s Steel Homes produced with Odd Girl Out, premiered at the prestigious IDFA in Amsterdam at the end of last year and is to make its North American premiere this week at Sundance. Congratulations to the filmmakers!
